Memories Bring Praises
Psalm 89:1-2 NKJV
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. 2 For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.”
The psalmist recalls the promises of God and responds to these faithful promises with praise.
Notice:
- I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever.
- I will open my mouth and share God’s faithfulness throughout all generations.
- I will say out of my mouth, Your mercy Lord shall be built up forever.
- Your faithfulness Lord has been established by You in the heavens.
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you today…
- Recall to mind your journey with Me.
- Recall to mind the faithfulness of My care and concern for you.
- Recall to mind My strength that supported you through the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the tears and the laughter, and the plenty and the sparse.
- Be intentional to sing My praises before this dark world.
- Be intentional to sing about My grace and mercies that are new to you every day.
Meditate on the mercy of God extended to you and your family.
Thank God for reminding you to meditate on His blessings.
God is pleased with your praise.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those He called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people, (Ephesians 1:18, NLT).
