Who Do You Hang Out With?
1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
Paul writes these words to the church in Corinth.
Notice:
- He want them to have a clear understanding, (don’t be deceived) of what he is saying.
- Evil company corrupts good habits.
Child of God:
Today the Holy Spirit is saying to you the baptized born again believer…
- You will be influenced by the company that you keep.
- You will be judged by the company that you keep.
- Amos asks, can two walk together except they agree,(Amos 3:3).
- Paul writes don’t let what you do for good be considered evil, (Romans 14:16).
Meditate on your circle, (family, friends coworkers neighbors, etc.).
Be intentional to hang out with likeminded folks.
Beware of situations where you might be asked to compromise your stand in Christ.
Thank God for the Holy Spirit who exposes evil company.
May God "teach you to number your days, that you may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12, NKJV). Love Ya Webster
