Blessing In Giving
Deuteronomy 15:10 NKJV
10 You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.
Moses speaks to the children of Israel about the need to be generous to the poor.
Notice:
1. If you give freely to the poor the Lord will bless you.
a.) In all your works.
b.) In everything you put your hand to.
c.) Your heart should not be grieved.
Child of God…
• The Bible says when you give to the poor you lend to the Lord, (Proverbs 19:17).
• Jesus said this cruel world will always have those who need assistance.
• Ask God to direct you to someone who needs your assistance.
• Consider sharing your time, talents and materials with someone in need.
Meditate on the joy of giving with a heart of God.
Thank God for the blessings that you receive as you obey His word.
Thank God for His Word that tells you there are blessings in giving.
May God "teach you to number your days, that you may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12, NKJV). Love Ya Webster
