It’s One Or The Other
Deuteronomy 30:15,16 NKJV
15. “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 “in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
Moses speaks these words to the children of Israel as they are about to enter the promise land.
Notice
1. They have choices:
a) Life & prosperity, (life & good)
b) Death & adversity, (death & evil)
2. If they obey the commandments.
3. If they love the Lord.
4. If they follow the ways of the Lord.
a) They will be blessed in the land.
b) They will live & multiply.
Child of God:
Today you have choices.
• Take a moment to consider your choices.
• Jesus, (life & prosperity), or the world, (death & evil).
• Make a conscious decision to choose Jesus, ( life & good).
• Take a moment to tell God you chose to follow Him.
• This comes with opposition from the world, (sometimes from within your family).
• Love the Lord, & follow all His commandments.
Meditate on the consequences of your choices.
Remember it is one or the other!
