Wisdom For Long Life

Proverbs 3:1-2 NKJV

1. My son do not forget my law But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.

Hear the words of Solomon to his son.

Notice:

  1. Do not forget my law, (the things that I have taught you).
  2. Store my commands in your heart.
  3. Remembering and storing these things will give you a long life.
  4. Remembering and storing these things will give you a peaceful life.

Child of God…

  • Solomon prayed for the wisdom of God and God granted his request, (2 Chronicles 1:11,12).
  • Solomon is credited with writing 3000 proverbs and 1000 songs, (2 Kings 4:32).
  • Solomon writes about wisdom and understanding.
  • The Holy Spirit of God is saying to you today, wisdom and understanding is available to you.
  • Wisdom and understanding are in the Word of God, (the Bible).
  • James writes if you lack wisdom ask God, (James 1:5).
  • The wisdom of God is a guidance for long life, (eternal life).

Meditate on a life in eternity with God.

Thank God that physical death has no power over you.

Thank God for His Word that provides wisdom for a long and peaceful life, (eternal life).

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, (2 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV). Love ya Webster
