Sealed For That Day
Ephesians 4:30 NKJV
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Paul writes these words to the Ephesian church to stress to them the importance of not grieving the Holy Spirit.
Notice :
1. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.
2. The Holy Spirit of God sealed you for the day of redemption.
WOW, strong words for the baptized born again believer.
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you today.
• Do not bring grief, (sorrow), to the Holy Spirit of God, (How would you grieve the Holy Spirit?).
• By indulging in the fruit of the flesh found in Galatians 5:19-21.
a.) Sexual immorality.
b.) Impure thoughts.
c.) Eagerness for lustful pleasures.
d.) Hostility.
e.) Quarreling.
f.) Jealousy.
g.) Selfish ambition.
h.) Burst of anger.
i.) Divisions.
j.) Envy.
k.) Drunkenness.
l.) Wild parties.
m.) Thinking that everyone is wrong ,(you are the only one whose opinion counts).
• Live in a way that brings Him glory.
• The world should see Christ in you by the way you interact with others.
• The Holy Spirit of God has sealed you for the day you will be presented to God.
Meditate on the joy of hearing well done My good and faithful servant.
Meditate on the joy of Jesus as He presents you to God.
Thank God that He sealed you for the day of redemption.
