Genesis/ Light And Order

 

Genesis 1:1-5 NKJV

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

These verses note the beginning of creation; darkness and emptiness is changed to light and order by the Word of God.

Notice:

  1. In the beginning there was God.
  2. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,
  3. In the beginning the earth was empty and formless; there was darkness on the face of the earth.
  4. In the beginning the Spirit of God hovered over the earth.
  5. Then God spoke, God said let there be light.
  6. At the command of God there was light, and God saw the light and it was good.
  7. In the beginning God separated the darkness from the light and called the light day and darkness night.
  8. In the beginning was the first day.

Child of God, look at the account recorded in the Bible about creation.

  • Our God is eternal, He is has no beginning, HE IS, HE EXIST.
  • Our Godhead is powerful, all power, Spirit hovering, God speaking, Jesus executing, (John 1:1-3).
  • Our God can bring organization out of disorganization and emptiness.
  • Our God can speak light in our darkness.
  • Our God controls every day that we exist.
  • Out God says what He does is good.

Meditate on the truth that He created you, know that you are good because you are created in His image and likeness.                                                                                                                    

Thank God that at His command there is light and order in your life.
