Psalm 89:5-7 NKJV
5. And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints. 6 For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the Lord? 7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him.
The psalmist recalls the promises of God and responds to these faithful promises with praise.
Notice:
- All the heavens, (angelic host), will praise Your wonders oh Lord.
- Your faithfulness will also be praised in the assembly of the saints.
- For whom in the heavens, (angelic host), can compare to You Lord.
- Who among the sons of the mighty, (warring angles), can be likened to You Lord.
- Therefore, God must be feared in the assembly of the saints.
- God must be held in reverence by everyone!
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you the baptized born again believer today…
- Your faith in the finished work of Jesus on the Cross changed your position from sinner to saint.
- As a saint of the Most High God, you are to join in with the angelic host and praise Me.
- There are no powers in heaven, in the earth, or under the earth that have My attributes.
- There are no powers in heaven, in the earth, or under the earth that can compare with Me.
- Therefore, I charge you to honor My command, let everything that has breathe praise Me, (Psalm 150:6).
Meditate on the awesome attributes of the Godhead that no one can compare to, (omnipotent, omnipresence, omniscience, and immutable).
Thank God that He sent Jesus to change your position from sinner to saint.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those He called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people, (Ephesians 1:18, NLT).
