 Equipped For The Task
Nehemiah 4:17,18 NKJV
17 Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. 18 Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.

Nehemiah was the servant of King Artaxerxes a Persian King. It was his responsibility to taste all foods and drinks before it was given to the king.

When Nehemiah heard that the walls of Jerusalem were torn down , leaving his beloved city unprotected, he sort permission from the king to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls.

Hear what he writes regarding the determined Jews who are rebuilding the walls in spite of the plot to interfere with this most important task.
Notice:
1. The people who carried a burden, (those who were determined)…
a.) Worked on the wall with one hand.
b.) Loaded themselves with weapons in the other hand.
2. Every one of the builders had his sword tied to his side as he built.
3. The person with the trumpet, (needed to signal danger), was beside Nehemiah.

Child of God, you may be wondering how these actions are applicable in the life of the baptized born again believer.
The Holy Spirit is saying.
I will always warn you of attacks from the enemy,
I will always equip you to ward off any attack.
I will always be with you during any attack.
When needed you will minister with both hands equipped.
When needed you will be able to instructed others in the art of ministry with both hands.

Meditate on the power, authority and security that God has given you.
God sees your determination to complete the task He has assigned to you
Thank God that you can boldly accomplish any task because of your confidence in Him.

May God "teach you to number your days, that you may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12, NKJV).  Love Ya Webster
