Godly Wisdom
James 3:17 NKJV
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
James writes to the church about using wisdom in leadership.
Notice:
1. Wisdom that is from above,(Godly) is…
a.) Pure.
b.) Peaceable.
c.) Gentle.
d.) Willing to yield.
e.) Full of mercy.
f.) Produces good fruit.
g.) Does not have favorites, (without partiality).
h.) Does not pretend, (without hypocrisy)
Child of God.
• Consider who you draw wisdom from.
• Worldly wisdom does not produce the Fruit of the Spirit.
• Ask God for His wisdom.
• Read His Word with the heart to apply His Word in every aspect of your life.
The Holy Spirit is saying if you seek me and listen to me you will have a godly leadership lifestyle.
Meditate on the inroads you will make in your ministry.
Thank God for the Bible that provides Godly wisdom.
Thank God for His Word that produces a leadership lifestyle that imitates Him.
