The Important Need To Testify

Acts 20:24 NKJV

24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Paul shares his testimony with the elders in Ephesus. He is on his way to Jerusalem, and he is unsure what his fate will be.

Notice his confidence in God.

  1. I am not concerned about the past attacks or the unknown future.
  2. I am not concerned about my physical wellbeing.
  3. My goal is to finish the task that the Holy Spirit has assigned to me .
  4. My goal is to finish with joy.
  5. My goal is to testify of the Gospel of Grace through Jesus the Christ.

Child of God.

  • You may not know what your future will be, but you know who is in control of your future.
  • Your testimony is worth sharing.
  • Your confidence in keeping on the path with God is worth sharing.
  • Your determination to do the ministry He has assigned to you, in spite of obstacles, is worth sharing.

Meditate on who God wants you to share your testimony with.

Meditate on the peace and security that you have in Christ.

Thank God for a testimony and the opportunity to share your testimony, it is most important.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV).
