How Do You Know
1 John 2:5 NKJV
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
The apostle John gives these believers the litmus test!!
Notice:
1. Whoever keeps God’s Word…
a.) Has the love of God perfected in them.
b.) Has proof that they are in God.
Child of God:
• Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments.
• John is saying if you keep God’s Word you will know that you know, that you know, that you belong to Him.
WOW!! Doesn’t that sound really clear.
• Read the Word.
• Meditate in the Word.
• Do the Word.
Meditate in the assurance that you know that you know that you know you belong to God.
Thank God that He knows you!
Thank God for sending Jesus to make you His child.
