Tender/Kind/Forgiving
Ephesians 4: 32 NKJV
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Paul writes to this church in Ephesus giving them instruction for dealing with each other.
Notice what he says in verse 32.
- Be kind to each other.
- Show feelings of tenderness to each other.
- Forgive each other.
- God through Christ Jesus has forgiven them.
Child of God:
- Romans 8: 1-4 affirms that the baptized born again believer has forgiveness from God through Christ Jesus.
- Paul is saying God showed you mercy, therefore, show mercy to others.
- Refuse to hold grudges.
- Refuse to harbor unforgiveness in your heart.
- Pray for those who hurt you.
- Show kindness to family, friends and neighbors, especially the believer,(Galatians 6:10).
Thank God for teaching you to follow His example of being tender, kind, and forgiving.
Meditate on your justified, (innocent) standing in Christ.
Thank God for the Fruit of the Spirit that enables you to be tender, kind, and forgiving.
