Only Temporary
Revelation 21:4 NKJV
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
In chapter 21 of the book of Revelation, the apostle John describes the holy city of God.
Notice what John says in verse four.
1. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
2. There shall be no…
a.) Death.
b.) Sorrow
c.) Crying.
d.) Pain.
3. The former things, (the first heaven and first earth) are passed away.
Child of God:
• The blessed hope of the believer is a glorified body in the presence of the Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, (Titus 2:13).
• This world is not your home; you are just here for a season.
• These light afflictions pale in comparison to what is in store for you in the new heaven and new earth, the Holy City of God.
• Shedding tears in this dark corrupt world happens.
• You might cry out to God for mercy and relief.
• Be assured that He hears your prayers.
• He has already prepared a place for you.
Meditate on the Holy City of God where old things are passed away.
Thank God that you can endure the pain of this world because it is only temporary.
Thank God for faith and hope.
