Supernatural Help

Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Paul writes to the Galatian church regarding their spiritual wellness. In these verses he list the virtues of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Notice, he writes to them that when the Holy Spirit is in control, He will produce these nine virtues.

  1. Love.
  2. Joy.
  3. Peace.
  4. Longsuffering.
  5. Kindness.
  6. Goodness.
  7. Faithfulness.
  8. Gentleness.
  9. Self-control.

Question: What do these verses say to you the baptized born again believer today?

 Your old nature is always a war with your new nature.

  • Fruit is produced from seeds that are planted.
  • Seeds bear fruit which is seen outwardly.
  • Outward behavior is what is visible, and it should confirm the inward qualities.
  • Take a moment and evaluate your every thought, speech, and action.
  • As a believer you are challenged daily with the values of this fallen world.
  • There is Supernatural Help to supersede you old nature.
  • Feed your seeds with the WORD

Meditate on these nine virtues. Read them again and ask God to address any immature seeds.

Thank God for His supernatural help as He develops these virtues in you.

May the Lord be with your spirit (2 Timothy 4: 22 a).
