You Are Already There
Isaiah 57: 15 NKJV
15. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Notice
God Himself is speaking.
- He is the High & Lofty One.
- He inhabits eternity.
- His name is Holy.
- He says that He dwells in a HIGH & HOLY PLACE.
Notice who God says is with Him.
- The person with a contrite, (broken down with sorrow for sin: humbly & thoroughly penitent (Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary), & humble spirit.
Notice what God does for those who dwell with Him.
- He revives the spirit of the humble.
- He revives the spirit of the contrite one.
Child of God:
As a baptized born again believer you have a position in heavenly places with Christ.
Ep. 2: 4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus( NKJV),
Today meditate on your dwelling place with Christ.
Thank God that you are already there with HIM.
It has already taken place in the spiritual realm.
