Cleared By Faith

Romans 5:1, 2 NKJV

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,  2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:1,2 NIV

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Paul  writes to the church in Roman.

Notice :

  1. They have been justified, (cleared of all charges).

         How were they cleared?

  1. By  their faith, (acting on their belief).
  2. They now have peace with God.

How did their peace come about?

  1. Through what Jesus did for them.

By acting on their faith in what Jesus did…

  1. They are in a place to receive the grace, (undeserved favor), of God.
  2. They can rejoice in the hope of being in the glory of God.

Today over 2000 years later Paul‘s words speak to you.

As a baptized born again believer you…

  1. Have been cleared of all charges, (justified).

By acting on your faith in the sacrifice of Jesus…

  1. You receive the Grace of God.
  2. You have a peace with God.
  3. You can rejoice in the hope of spending eternity in the glorious presence of God.

Today take a moment to meditate on the sacrifice that Jesus made to bring you the reconciliation that you now have with God.

Thank God for the saving faith that clears your record.

May the peace of God rest upon you.

Love ya,  Webster
