Hearing/ Responding/ Loving
Psalms 116: 1,2 KJV
1 I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Psalms 116:1, 2 NLT
1 I love the Lord because he hears and answers my prayers .2 Because he bends down and listens,
I will pray as long as I have breath.
Notice how easily you can relate to the emotions that the psalmist expresses.
1. He loves the Lord God Almighty.
2. He loves Him because God heard his cry for help and responded.
3. He loves Him because God took time to listen to him.
4. In response to God’s faithfulness the psalmist will continually pray to God throughout his human existence.

Today
- Reflect on the most recent time God responded to your call for help.
- God is listening to you right now.
- Take a moment to tell Him how much you love Him.
- Tell Him why you love Him.
- Make a conscious decision to seek Him in all life’s situations as long as you live, (as long as you have breath).
Meditate on communing with the God who hears, responds and loves.
Thank God for His faithfulness to you.
May the peace of God rest upon you.
