John 10:10, 11 NKJV
10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
Jesus is speaking.
Notice:
1. The thief’s, (false teachers), intention is to steal, kill, & destroy the sheep, (God’s people).
2. Jesus came to give His people a rich and plentiful life.
3. Jesus, the good shepherd will give His life for His sheep.
Child of God, today the Holy Spirit is saying to…
• Beware of any teachings that do not agree with the Holy Bible.
a.) The goal of false teachings is to take your life, (physical & eternal ).
b.) Trust God to provide your every need.
c.) Know that Jesus gave His life so that you might have a full life here on earth, and eternal life with Him in heaven.
• Be selective in what you ingest.
a.) Physically, (food).
b.) Emotionally, (what you open your heart to).
c.) Psychologically, (your pursuits).
d.) Spiritually, (read, listen to, look at).
Meditate on the SACRIFICE YOUR SHEPHERD MADE FOR YOU!!
Be purposefully in seeking God’s will for your life.
Thank God for the wisdom to choose truth over false.
