Behold the Love
1 John 3:1 NKJV
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
John writes to the church of God.
Notice:
He wants them to know:
- What a marvelous act of love God has abundantly poured on the Church of God.
- Because of this marvelous act of love, they are called children of God.
- Because they are children of God, they are strangers to the world.
- They are strangers to the world because the world did not know God as the only true and living God.
Child of God:
Today as a baptized born again believer.
- God has poured out an abundant blessing upon you.
- God calls you his child!
- Because you are God’s child the world does not want you to talk about Jesus.
- You will be seen as strange when you proclaim Jesus as the only true and living God.
Meditate on the humiliation Jesus suffered for you.
No humiliation that you experience will ever equal what Jesus experienced for you.
As a child of GOD, boldly proclaim Him a the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD!
