Psalms 55:22 NKJV
22. Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
Two words grab your attention and should be meditated on.
- Cast- to throw or fling with a quick motion and sudden release, (Webster’s New collegiate Dict.).
- Never- Not ever; at no time; not in any degree, way , or condition (Webster’s New collegiate Dict.).
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you today…
- Now release that weight, (burden), on God.
Meditate on how quickly God released that weight from your shoulders when you released it to Him.
- Meditate on the fact that God will never allow anything into your life that will destroy you.
Meditate on the fact that whatever the circumstance in your life God is always surrounding you and holding you up. It is His job to hold you up, not yours.
Rest in this truth.
