Hidden Treasures Revealed
Proverbs 2:1-5 NKJV
2 1. My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.
Hear the words of Solomon to his son.
- If you receive my words, (wisdom) and treasure my commands within you…
- If you incline your heart to understanding…
- If you cry out for discernment, and lift your voice for understanding…
- If you seek her, (wisdom), as silver and search for her as hidden treasure…
- You will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
WOW, what is the application for the baptized born again believer ?
The Holy Spirit is saying today…
- HEAR the voice of God as you read and study His Word the Bible.
- Be intentional to apply His Word in your everyday life.
- Ask Him for insight and understanding.
- Be intentional to search for truth.
- As you read, search, study and pray, you will come to see God in His fulness and have reverence for Hm.
- God has revealed His treasures in His Word
Meditate on the improved quality of life you have as you learn more and more about God.
Thank God for the value in His wisdom that brings improvement in your life.
Thank God that He wants to reveal HIMSELF to you!!
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future He has promised to those He called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance He has given to His people, (Ephesians 1:18, NLT).
