Where Is The Real Strength?

James 4:7 NKJV

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

James writes these words to these Christians to encourage them to stay connected to God.

Notice:

  1. Therefore, (refers to verse 6, God resist the proud and gives grace to the humble), submit to God.
  2. Resist the devil.
  3. When you resist the devil he will flee.

Child of God, hear the truth:

  • God will provide grace to His humble servants.
  • God says when you submit to Him He carries you.
  • God says resist the devil; he has no power  over you or your situation.
  • God says the powers of darkness tremble at the presence of the Holy Spirit who indwells you.

Meditate on your victory in God when you submit to Him.

Ponder your real strength in God when you are totally submitted to HIM.

Thank God for the Holy Spirit that brings all principalities under His subjection.
