Allow His Word To Burn In Your Heart
Luke 24:32 NKJV
32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
These are the words spoken by the two disciples who encountered Jesus after His resurrection on the road to Emmaus.
Notice what they said.
1. Didn’t our hearts burn within us…
a.) While Jesus talked with us.
b.) While Jesus opened up the scriptures to us.
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you today…
• You can have this same testimony.
• You can experience this same sensation.
• Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to indwell you, the baptized born again believer, to open up the scriptures to you.
• Your responsibility is to avail yourself to His teaching.
• God’s Word, (the Bible), is here for the baptized born again believer, (it is your very life).
• Read, study, and sit quietly with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to open up the eyes of your understanding.
Meditate on the burning in your heart as the Holy Spirit speaks to you now.
Thank God for providing you with His inspired Word, The Bible.
