Love From The Godhead

John 15:9 NKJV

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

The Apostle John records these Words of Jesus, spoken to the apostles, to stress the love and joy of the Father for His saints.

Notice:

  1. Just as the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you.
  2. Therefore, abide in My Love.

Child of God, the Holy Spirit is saying to you today…

  • You are loved by the Godhead, (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit).
  • Because you are loved, you can return love.
  • Showing love by your lifestyle shows the world that you belong to Me.
  • Abiding in Me and My Word equals development of the virtues of the Holy Spirit in you.
  • Development of the virtues of the Holy Spirit means moving towards perfection, (maturity).

Meditate on the love of the Father poured into your heart by the Holy Spirit that will overflow to others.

Thank God for the love and care that you receive from the Triune God.
