Perfect In Weakness

2 Corinthians 12: 9 NKJV

9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Paul shares his request to God to be healed with this church in Corinth. He also share God’s response.

Notice:

  1. God said to him, My Grace is sufficient.
  2. God said my strength is made perfect in your weakness.
  3. Paul’s response is that he will most gladly boast in his weakness ,(infirmities).
  4. Paul shares that now the power of Christ rest upon him.

Child of God:

  • God can use you in spite of your weaknesses.
  • God can use you in spite of your insecurities.
  • God can and does use you when you feel inadequate for the task, (ministry).
  • The Holy Spirit is saying to you today I am the power in your ministry.
  • The Holy Spirit is saying to you today look to Me for strength, direction, guidance, and power in all your endeavors.

Meditate on the ease of ministry knowing that God can and does use you in your weakness.

Thank God for making you perfect in your weaknesses

Thank God for His power and authority to accomplish His ministry.

May the Lord be with your spirit (2 Timothy 4: 22 a).
