Assignment

Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

In these verses hear Jesus speaking to His apostles. This is after the resurrection and Jesus leaves this command with them.

Notice:

  1. Go!
  2. Teach!
  3. Baptize!

He tells them what, where, who and how!

  1. Go to all nations.
  2. Teach them to observe all the things that Jesus commanded the apostles.
  3. Baptize them in the Name of the Father, in the Name of the Son , in the Name of the Holy Spirit, all in Jesus’ Name.
  4. All done by the aid of the Holy Spirit. He, (the Holy Spirit),  is with them always, (forever), to the end of the world.

Child of God:

This command from Jesus to the apostles does not have an expiration date.

This command holds true for every baptized born again believer.

  • You are to witness to everyone in your circle.
  • You are to seek opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • The indwelling Holy Spirit of God is with you.
  • The Holy Spirit of God will give you boldness, words, and opportunity to...
  • Go!
  • Teach!
  • Baptize!

Meditate on your assignment as you ask God to lead, feed, and guide you in your ministry.

Thank God that He trust you to share His Word with a world in darkness.
