Agape Love To Everyone
Hebrews 13:1,2 NLT
1 Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. 2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
Hebrews 13:1,2 NKJV
1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
In these two verses the writer of this letter admonishes his readers to show love and hospitality.
Notice:
- They are to continue to show love to each other.
- They are to show the Christian love, (agape love), the love of Christ that God has put in their hearts.
- They are also to show love to strangers.
- In showing love to strangers, they might be showing love to angels.
- Others have been blessed by showing love to strangers.
Child of God:
- As God’s ambassador you are charged with showing the love of God to everyone in your circle.
- God may send one of His ministering angels to bless you.
- If and when this happens, you, by your love, will be open to receive His blessing.
Jesus said by this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another, (John 13:35).
Keep your heart open to every opportunity to show God’s LOVE!
Meditate on God's agape love for you.
