The Most Important Question

John 3: 5-7 NKJV

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

These are the words of Jesus to Nicodemus in response to his questions about “new birth”.

Notice:  

In order to enter the kingdom of God one must:

  1. Be born of the water, ( flesh - naturally).
  2. Be born of the Spirit, (Spirit-supernaturally).

  It is important for you to consider your status.

  • Jesus died so you could have life, (new birth).
  • Have you been born again?
  • If not, ask God now for spiritual birth.
  • Ask God to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart.
  • Tell Him that you want Him to have control of your life.

If you are born again take time to thank God for your gift of eternal life.

Meditate on your answer to this most important question.

Thank God for His Son Jesus.
